that depends who you ask! I have no idea if it will work, but I'd much rather "bailout" money go towards rebuilding this countries infrastructure than sending it to banks so they can do nothing with it.

Too bad for her that having a Black man elected as president doesent cure her of stupidity.

Seems there is a big lot of black people that feel this whole thing is a slap to the White Mans face, and that Obama is gonna fix things for the black people, and its payback to white people etc....

I would love to see the looks on thier faces when thier next welfare check is missing the "40 cares and mule"

thank god it is only a small percentage of the black people who are being retarded. unfortunatly it really makes a lot of black people look bad.

I dont think any black canidate who based thier whole campaing on race would have a snowball chance in hell if winning. Of course race was brought up here and there thanks to ******** like al sharpton and jesse jackson. It is unavoidable that other people wouldnt bring it up.

Its funny listening to rap music now, because most of the new songs by black rappers are all about how the feel Obama is going to take the black people off the streets and help the black people not sell crack and stuff..
IMHO Obama can not really do anything to help one race, it would send america into a riot.. the only thing he can do is prove that race does not hold you back from being a great leader...

but i hope that he does well and is the man for the job with the way our country is right now...

That is the only issue i have with your arguements against obama, is they all seem to be the same played out crap that never panned out when everyone else said it and was proven wrong.

, i never even heared you say a single positive thing about Mccain other than he wasnt Obama. I wouldnt be suprised if this was you the morning obama was sworn in.
So, your ranting is based on things from the past and not in the least bit relavent to my post in this thread? I don't get it man, you just seem to like to start **** lately, must not be getting laid much or something.

Please remove the Obama sign from your *** Chris, I think you've shoved it a little too far and it's starting to make you irritable.

Starting ****? I just was wondering where you got the idea that 20 years in politics does not equal any experience.

None of your arguments against obama hold any weight, it is just mindless propaganda that most intelligent people are capable of looking past, yet you are clinging to them like it is proven fact.

I would be badgering anyone who said the same mindless dribble with Mccain. Hell, I did not even vote for Obama.

STOP. Reread the sentance above this because i know it did not sink in.

STOP, Read the sentance above this, and follow the instructions, AGAIN.

I wasnt angry at you, i just questioned a statement. Generally when i see somone make a statement that look pretty rrediculous, i want to see something to back it up.

See this? this was from Bassman97. This is an mature intelligent response. While i disagree that it means Obama lacks experience, it is a well written and intelligent responce.

Being part of politics isn't experience. One needs leadership experience. W had it because he was governor. Clinton had because of the same deal. H.W. had it from being head of CIA. Carter was a peanut farmer, and his inexperience showed. Plus, in the 20 years Obama has been in politics, what has he done? As far as I can tell, the only thing he has done was get to where he was by default (most elections he won he was the only candidate) and once in the US senate, set the record on voting present. Yeah, that's sounds like plenty of experience. Welcome everyone to Carter's 2nd term.

And this?... well... i guess this is pretty much par for the course whenever you try to respond.

Please remove the Obama sign from your *** Chris, I think you've shoved it a little too far and it's starting to make you irritable

Nevermind Evan i give up. You apparently just are not up to the task of backing up anything you say.

and once again for the record, i wasnt trying to be an *******, and i was not trying to insult you, all i did was question the validity of a statement.

if you want to get all butthurt, that is your perrogative.

If you dont like that, GTFO my thread.

lol....oh jeez, here we go again. I have a feeling you and bassman97 would still hate Obama even if he turned the economy around, put more money in your pocket, secured the borders, and ended terrorism all in the same week. ha ha ha. I dont think I've ever heard either of you say anything positive in a political thread.

I think Evan is talking about executive experience, such as a governor. I mean he has what 8 years as a US senator, which for 2 of them he was mostly campaigning.

But lets be honest he has 0% foreign policy experience.

And I don't think any one would hate if he turns alot of things around, except some Neo-***** or some radical group as such.

What. the. hell?

I said NOTHING anti-Obama in this thread, but I'm the one being immature? Hell, I even watched the inaguration and gave him props for a great speech.

My ONLY comment about the whole situation was that his lack of leadership experience could be interesting. I guess the word "interesting is suddenly a highly degrading term." Who the hell knew!?

This is a direct quote of my first and only real comment in this thread.
I watched some of it here at my computer.. I thought Bush carried himself very well, looked bored as ****, but he seemed very respectful.

We'll see what happens, Obama can give a speech like no one's business, but can he actually run the country?.. Who knows? He has no experience, so it's going to be interesting.
Take a ******* look in the mirror Chris and quit talking so much ****.

Oh, and how about this? You tell me what was so rhetorical about this. Hell, take your own advice and READ the last line a few times. And no, it wasn't a "good luck to us all because Obama is going to **** us all over," it was a general comment of the times we are in, hence the "save your money" part.
Let me shorten my explanation. - He talks a very good talk, but will his actions back up what his mouth says? Only time will tell.

Oh, and BTW JMHO so far his actions aren't backing anything that he has said up. Another trillion dollar "stimulous" bailout?. That's really going to help.. More monopoly money!

Anyway, good luck to the guy, and good luck to all of us, keep your fingers crossed and save as much money as you can.
Jesus christ man, IDK what the **** is wrong with you, but your e-bully tactics will not work on me and you should know that by now.

By putting money in my pocket as in a rebate check that instantly gets whisked by the income/FICA tax hike he'll put on my pay check, yes, I'll still be angry. Will he turn the economy around? If he does what he said he wants to do in his inauguration speech, then fat chance he'll turn it around. Will he end terrorism by giving in to popular pressure? Don't think so. Will he secure our borders when he says we should all know Spanish? Don't think so either. Obama was seriously the worst man for the job, on the Democrat side. In fact, I don't think he is even going to do anything effective, considering everyone he has on his cabinet is from the Clinton years. Heck, putting the former Clinton Chief of Staff as the head of the CIA shows plenty experience, even though Pedotta (is that his name?) has no experience w/ the CIA. In fact, it looks to me that Hilary is the one that's really going to run the show. In fact, to sum it up, when I hear people who immigrated from Russia come here and they say "wtf is wrong w/ you people, how can you vote for this, didn't you learn from US!?", that does not inspire a lot of confidence.

looking at what Obama wants to do with the economy, its not going to be pretty.... talking to my father about it, the last few times that america has gotton really strong and has a great economy the president lowered taxes. that started the great years of the 20's the 70's (even though people were rebelling and on drugs the economy was great) and one more time, that i do not remeber when i think 8 years in the late 80's early 90's... every time that a president has raised taxes (like Obama wants to do) things turn south like the carter years.. taxes were out the roof we are going to go into another Carter era if Obama raises taxes like he wants to....

so the truth be told Obama really needs to take the Republicans plan and lower taxes for everyone if he wants to help the economy, not raise them for the high class and upper-middle class and lower them for everyone else. Hoping that the trickle effect will work... Because it won't....

just thought i would put that in here...
