Yeah, normally this would be relegated to the political forum but this affects us all regardless of party affiliation or view.

Read the article, then send an email to the Prez telling him you want those earmarks deleted from the budget. He fugged us on Iraq and failed to address ANY domestic issues of importance. The least monkey boy can do is jerk Congress' fingers out of our bank accounts... stop funding pet projects with Federal money.

END POVERTY. EDUCATE THE MASSES.

Didn't he promise to get rid of earmarks? The California State Legislature used to have earmarks as well, but got rid of them when budget times go pretty bad. I don't exactly think the Federal budget is doing any better so screw earmarks.

Earmarks=buying votes for the President.

I don't care who wins the election, but I'm ready for this *** hat to be gone!

Yes he sure did promise to "restore integrity" to government with one specific promise being to rid the budget of pork. Nobody ever does any actual pork cutting though. They just find new and creative ways to hide it in omnibus bills.

At this point I just want someone else in the house. I liked Bush to start but he's gotten less and less in touch with who we elected and more in touch with who he's making richer.
