upper control arms

Default upper control arms

anybody know the torque settings for upper control arms , axle side ? and frame side? for my 99 gt, i'am using frpp upper arms. thanx

Hate to inform you but the FRPP RUCA are just the stock 99-04 pieces.

yes thanks, what is the torque setting? and actually they are not, part number m-5500-a come with bushing twice as stiff then production bushings and arms are a little bit longer

Bushings used are the same as the production SN95 units.
Anyway, I believe you torque them down to 111 ft*lbs but this has to be done while the suspension is loaded.

That would work fine.

some sources say the bushing is higher durometer than stock on the FRPP uppers but it's rubber still so I wouldn't put much stock in it being too helpful. The UCA's need to be set on flexible bushings or you'll bind up hella bad anyway.

I always cinch mine down to 70lbs all the way around but, I'm all the time under my car tinkering so it's nicer to not have to move the world to pull a bolt...just personal preferance.
