Default Sub Boxes!

Ok, i just bought 2 12" subs and a box. One question? How the hell am i supposed to get that box in my trunk? I tried from the back seat and through the rear of the car and its just not going in! What are your choices? getting a new box?

is it a 1 piece box? if so you are not gonna fit that thing in there. i have 2 12" subs in seperate boxes that barely fit in there.

The amp is a big ****, about 15x8. there is about 2 inches between it and the subs and it and the trunk latch. this is with the sub boxes pushe as close to the seats as possible. srry for the unorganized trunk. this was right after install..

the 2 box setup is nice cause you dont have to remove both subs to get to your spare. just remove one and you have enuf room to do what u need. and if u need more space for say a road trip, take out 1 sub and you wont sacrifice much sound quality. lol

my trunk lid rattles a quite a bit when its really thumping (i think it really the liscense plate, so try to get some sort of liscense plate holder to help that). the rear deck carpet (where the rear speakers are) rattle like a **** so i put some thin foam weather stripping around the area that the carpet touched. that eliminated the rattle from the inside.

also, i had a really bad creaking sound comeing from the back that i figured out was a wire from the headunit was stuck between the rear seat and metal opening when the seat was out. dunno if ur gonna have this problem tho.

Yeah a box that big wont fit, I used to have a box for two 10s and it took up alot of room. I just built my own enclosures out of fiberglass so that it wouldnt take up near as much room when I take out the amp rack and nitous bottle.

Default Dynamat & Carpet

Before I put in my subs & amp, I did the dynamat thing...but I also had my
trunk covered in the same color carpet as my car. I have 2x10" subs with
1400 watts. No rattles....and the bass is clean & thumpin
when I crank it up

Looks great but I am pretty sure the nitrous bottle is supposed to have have the opener end facing forward so when you are on the car hard the pickup can still be in the nitrous.

I have two 10s in a single box, I just keep a screw driver and allen wrenches in the car so if I get a flat I can pull the box out.
