It shouldn't be that low. Have you really been romping on it?

having an offroad mid pipe with no MIL's or a tune ot turn them off doesnt effect anything including MPG. Your car sounds like its running pourly and needs a tune up.

I'm going to agree with the fritobandito...

If you're getting 11mpg then you need a tune and a tune up. Get your injectors cleaned or replaced and replace the fuel filter, new plugs and wires. I get 8-17mpg in the city and 17-24 on the freeway depending on how hard I'm standing on the right pedal. If I drive less than crazy I see the higher side of that chart every time.

I with the rest, you also answered your own question in your "coming soon" list with the plugs, wires, and coils.

ur car is messed up...

my mach 1 got 23mpg on the drive home (interstate, but first day i had it so i had fun), 22mpg when i tried babying it around town for best possible mileage, some highway and city... and 18mpg trying to get worst possible, practically racing stop light to stop light and almost half the tank at 80-135mph

Can you tell me more about the ECU thing? do i have something like that on a manual mach 1? i've never tried stepping on it when cold.

it stands for Engine Control Unit. you use more gas when your engine is cold. the best way to beat this is to warm up your engine before you start driving. just let it idle for 5-10 min.

If I were patient enough I'd let the thing warm up a little but, I'm not patient so that takes care of that. You can see what the result is.. 8mpg.

Worst I got with my '04, 4.10'd, S/C'd, 42lb injector'd GT was 17 City beating the **** out of it.
Best I got was when I was on the way home from the dealership in MD with it....28 MPG.
I still get 23-25 on the hwy with NO problem. 4.10's FTW

It is not that far fetched cause I got 28 with mine on the way home from the dealer cruising at 60. I just thought the 85-90ish is kinda high to still get those numbers.
