Default Gas Mileage Improvement??

Did anyone see an increase in gas mileage after loading the performance tune using a diablo predator??

I've only had my predator for a few weeks, and have only ran a few tanks of gas through it, but I used to get 260 miles out of a tank and now I'm getting 320 doing the same type of driving as before. That's a 4 mpg increase. Was it possible that I was running too lean or rich and the predator corrected it???

The Predator makes your Mustang run more efficient with the mods installed and will give a MPG increase. I noticed that I gained about 2 MPG on the highway when I installed my x-pipe and catback and I expect more when I install a chip. More power and better mileage...you just can't beat it!

Me Too Matt. Actually that would be a nice investment. It's about 3 or 4 hundred bucks for the diablo?? I think. But if you can get better gas mileage and more performance to boot. Thats worth it. Not to mention if your motor is running cleaner as it appears to be then you are doing your stang a favor in return. It's on my "todo" list now

I get aprox 260 miles per tank of gas before and after purchasing the Hypertech programer. The only difference I noticed is now I have to buy the more expensive 92 octane now. I noticed very little seat of the pants difference After installing the Hypertech download. I would like to go to the track on a test and tune day and run the car with tune and without tune and see if there is any difference. I did install a Diablo tune in my wifes expedition and noticed a 1-2mpg improvement and better seat of the pants acceleration. I wish I would of bought the Diablo Predator for my stang instead of the Hypertech!
