i have heard that some stations in texas are charging 9.xx for gas. i heard this from a girl who's family (that lives in texas) had to evacuate texas. they were also told to take pictures of the gas stations that were gouging prices like this and report them to the govt.

Some places did that only on the evacuation routes which is a pretty low move IMO. Those gas owners should go fu** themselves. Everywhere else stayed the same. Actually dropped its 3.50 here now

Only in America will you pay $4 a gallon for 91 octane when the crude oil price is under $100! Its wonderful to realize a hurricane scare a day away from land will hike the price up considerably, and cause gouging but when the cost of oil drops it takes several days for the effect to trickle down the system.

I'm just bitching because I paid $4 for my 91 today.

**** still over $4 /gal here in South Carolina. some places have had a reality check and have started to lower it down some to like 3.74 instead of the 4.30 they were charging...

it went up over 1.00 of the normal in one days time, why does it take them so long to lower it back down to what it should be, instead of taking there sweat time over a couple of weeks.

Its like the IRS is controlling it " they take it quickly, but hell if they owe you money they take there time giveing it back! "
