Mod Time
Hey all Im new to this sight but i have been a member of a couple mustang forums. I think this is the best ive seen. I currently have a BBK Offroad x-pipe, American Thunder Flowmaster catback, with a K&N intake. My ex-girlfriend wrecked my car and my exhaust was damaged. I been saving up and i want to do a bunch of Mods at once. I would like to know you alls opinion on what i want to do. 75mm throttle body and plenum, Mac longtube ceramic headers, mac offroad h-pipe, slp loud mouth exhaust, b&m shifter, 4.10 gear, and a tune. I would lie to know if theres anything i should consider or maybe suggestions. Id really like to be able to hit a mid 13. My best time with street tires was 14.0. Thanx

Sounds like a great start.....I'm sure you've done this, but listen to some sound clips of the SLP catback to make sure you like it. People either love it or hate it. I would also take into consideration the set up you have laid out probably will be so loud you won't be able to hear a word the person in the passenger seat is saying! ha ha ha......that might not be such a bad thing. ha ha

don't use a 75mm TB without a blower or turbo or a serious displacement upgrade. It'll just make it a world class PITA to get tuned and it'll probably cost you more power than it makes. 70mm is more than sufficient. I'd recommend either FRPP or Accufab as all the others I've tested have been spotty on the quality control and sometimes flat don't fit.
Apart from that ... looks like you've got your mind made up and not bad at that. I think you should pay a LOT more attention to your suspension than **** ant bolt-on's that don't really help your times. I'd seriously recommend you have a set of SFC welded on if not already, and a set of MM adjustable LCA's and FRPP boxed uppers and some Tokico illumina rear shocks.
