Default Time to do the J-mod

Ive done some research and I think this summer im going to do the J-Mod.

Since the valve body is out of stock ill go with just the plates. its cheaper that way and the install wont take much longer than that of the valvebody.

As far as the Tranny cooler i was going to go with

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

or

http://www.jegs.com/i/B%26M/130/7026...758370%7C10535

I just cant figure out the difference between the two. Does the one from summit come with all the required fittings, hoses etc. to mount the trans cooler? Because i dont see why the one from jegs would be so much more expensive.

Also am i missing anything else needed for the install? I was going to have the ford dealership do the install since ill be able to get a discount if not then ill go to a reptuable tranny shop.

The price is different because one has the hoses and fitting form B&M and the Jegs one has An fittings and better stainless covered lines. Get the cheaper B&M one you dont need the Jegs one. They have different part numbers so that should show you why they arent the same.

so the one from summit includes all the hoses and fittings needed for the install? So really the only difference is the Jegs one has better hoses and fittings?

Get the summit one. The Jegs one also comes with a fan, I think, which isn't really needed. When I installed the trans cooler on my v6 I had to get some more hose and a different fitting. I bought a $20 on off ebay though, but it was the same size as the summit one.

its pretty much the same thing, but i feel more comfortable getting it from jegs instead of summit. I know for sure that this one has all the stuff needed for mounting etc.
