I have an '03 GT with an automatic and I think that the stock shifter is just about the most unattractive and boring thing that I've ever seen. It looks like it belongs in an Focus or something! Does anyone have any suggestions on a shifter that is inspiring but that isn't a full-on ratchet shifter either? How does the overdrive button get integrated into aftermarket shifters? I would rather just be able to manually shift all the gears! Thanks for any help.

 

buy a 5 speed.

 

Or a T-56 6-speed, then you can manually shift even more gears and get a pretty shifter. =)

 

I originally wanted a stick, but in order to even get the car past my wife it had to be something that she could drive also....... hence the automatic. I'm sure that there is a auto shifter out there that's cool. The search continues............

I like it........ where do I get it??? It kinda looks like the stock shaft with an aftermarket ball and overdrive button. Any idea what brand it is?

 

UPR with the O/D relocation kit.......and I have this on my car. Comes in Alumininum too.....I love it
