Default To include cats, or not include cats

well im buying an H pipe and full length headers. here in new york you need to pass inspection with cats so an o/r mid pipe would fail. but heres what i want to kno before deciding on cats or no cats,....how much of a pain would it be to put the stock midpipe in at time of inspection if i went with the o/r midpipe? the headers im buying require a flanged end mid pipe i duno if the stock one even has that.

You'll have a totally diff size mid pipe with long tubes. So, buy a catted H for your long tube headers, with removable cats and get a set of race pipes to clamp in when you don't need the cats.
