Cats vs. No cats
Just put my off road h on and i like how loud it is but its alittle to raspy for me with my slp. Wouls 2 high flow cats tone it down a bit but keep it still considerable loud? Also i dont like how much it smells like exhaust fumes and it is idleing rough will cats also help that problem? thnanks

The exhaust smell will definately go away soon. Its just burning off the gooey stuff that comes on the pipe when you buy it.
I dont know what the idling problem is though. Maybe it just sounds so different and your not used to it.
The cats should quiet it down a little. I remember once I listened to an older 5.0 that went from offroad pipe to high flow and it actually sounded a bit louder. Others agreed that it was a little louder so I guess it just depends what brand of cats you get.

hmm, I dunno about your exhaust setup but I've had mine on since April and I still get that exhaust smell, it doesn't bother me though because it's really not that bad. As far as the raspiness goes.. the Steeda cat-back gives it a different tone out the *** so it's all good. I can go to the track and several people will comment on my exhaust sound, usually I hear my burnouts sound the best than any other car up there /shrug
