Get it with cats to avoid issues with the law unless you live in Hazzard County.

When's the last time you seen a cop get down to look
under a car? I guess they might do it in other places..
just not around here.. :happy3:

Its not so much if your pulled over. Its more for if you have state inspections on exhaust. Uncatted cars will not pass...

However you could just get the Catted SLP X-Pipe and then get the Race pipes and swap the cats for the race pipes during times your car isnt inspected, and then put the cats back on when your car has to go in for inspection...

Just a thought.

I always go to the same guy.. I had an 88 Mustang 5.0
with no cats.. that had no horn, or blinkers.. and he passed
it... you've just gotta find the right people..

Well, if thats the case, then dont worry about cats. Otherwise, just get a good catted pipe. It wont be "as" loud, but Im sure its still pretty peppy.

I didn't even buy the MIL Eliminiators or any of that junk.. I just had my car tuned  It runs great. They tuned the o2 sensors off so it would stop throwing a code.

How much did that cost you to have them turn it off and have it tuned

I paid $375 for an SCT Xcalibrator 2, $90 dyno rental fee, and $150 dyno tunning fee

it was worth it for me, I gained 13 RWHP and 22 RWTQ at the max outputs, I gained more in the lower rpms
