Default Cats or no cats?

i live in FL were there is no inspection and on my 2002 v6 my exhaust looks like the pic. should i or shouldnt i take out 0, 2 or all of the cats?????????????

if your guna do a full exhaust, LT headers with a catless h-pipe is probably what your after...

im going to do the spintech side exhaust but i could get some LT headers (whats that webssite for those?) and a catless H put in.

www.rpm-mustang.com they have the best price on LT headers and h-pipes i've seen, what state do u live in? and ru guna go catless or Catted? it's guna be kinda expensive if you go with the LT headers and catted H-pipe, along with the Spintech Dual Side Exit... without installation it's guna cost you over 1000 bucks... I got the catback for xmas, and I'll work on gettin the Headers this summer....

hahha i agree its florida dont spend money on cats just get them to get rid fo them. IF you pm me i can tell you a place that will do true duals with no cats in orlando for a good price.

I'm gonna completly disagree on this. I think he should get high flow cats they rob a couple ponies. The v6's sound soo much better with cats. I will admit i have heard mac lt's with h-pipe and mac catback and it sounds great.

if you are going to heavily mod it then i would say no cats but if it will be mostly bolt on id say keep a couple cats

without an LT setup, catless exhaust on a v6 will sound terrible at high RPMs.

wait and get LT's, and ideally a port and polish

I think he was thinkin about gettin the full header setup...hopefully mine will come in this summer!
