Default can anyone set me straight please

I've bee wanting to get a new exhaust system for a 98 v6 mustang and ive been looking all over the forums i want to turn my single exhaust into a true dual so i would buy the v6 h pipe adapter. im a big fan of the flowmast super 40's. How would i go about getting a Flowmaster 40s Dual Exhaust. like what other parts would i need to buy besides the adapter for the dual and a pair of super 40's? please someone set my noob self in the right direction

Well, you've got two options. You can either buy the h pipe adapter from AM and then buy some flowmaster 40 series mufflers and have the exhaust shop fabricate it up or you can only buy the flowmaster 40 series mufflers and have the exhaust shop fabricate the exhaust and it just won't have a midpipe. You'd have divorced duals. Either way, you'll only need the mufflers and if you wanted the midpipe, you'd also have to get the adapter. The exhaust shop should have all the piping, hangers, etc.

They don't need an adaptor they cut the stock y after the cats and weld staight pipes with your mufflers on them and then hang them so the tips are level and where you want them to be

mine cost like 150 bucks

Not including the price of the mufflers or tips, it costed me $200 for all the work. I brought my own mufflers and tips.
