Is it possible to......???
Is it possible to drop a 5.2 v8 on a 4.0 v6 2007 Mustang? I'v seen one vid of a crazy Stang with a v12. I not planing on doing something drastic now but maybe one day. If I feel I'm up to it!! What dose it take? Around how much dose the conversion cost? A few of my friends have the SRT4 NEON(400+HP) and tell me to get one. A NEON is still a NEON no matter how you look at it so no I don't want a NEON I want a killer Mustang that hold its own!!! I have a few others tell me to if not go sell your v6 do a engine drop. I know they make it sound simple and I know its not! So with your vast knowledge of the stang can anyone help a Mustang loving fellow! BTW I got my car on a awesome deal reason I got the v6. I was planning to go all out on my stang but I feel that my 4.0 v6 stang can only do so much. No point of dropping vast amount of cash just to be a bit above the GT in performance. Or is it!?!
Keep this a clean fight alright guys!!!

don't do that... if you're going to that, you should've bought a V8. i know guys with a 2007 4.0 mustang that have gotten a kenne bell s/c and are doing 273 rwhp/272 rwtq at 7.1 PSI. i think that's one of the best things about the s197's... you can pretty much slap a blower on it and get it tuned without a huge worry. stock internals are probably rated at about 350HP before they reach their limits.
seriously, i have a 3.8 V6 and was looking into all kind of performance mods and engine swaps. really do your homework before you take on any kind of challange.

where's the 5.2L engine coming from? Last I knew only Dodge had a motor that size... 318cid. It was never a very good engine. Their 360 and Hemi's are a LOT better. I'm partial to the modular engines myself. Lots of power left on the table from ford.
For your v6 car, 8.8 swap, T56 swap and a twin turbo setup. Upgrade your stock bottom end to fully forged and put a nice turbo specific cam in it and you'll have a really fast light car.
