Default sct

are the scts capable of recording 0-60 times and 1/4miles and stuff like that i have the usb and everything and i just dont know how to do it

nope. That part is called a G-Tech Pro. It comes in SS an RR. The RR is a very full featured unit with datalogging capability, the SS is probably closer to what you're seeking but it lacks some useful features of the RR model.

Check out www.gtechpro.com for more details on that.

You can use the SCT xcal2 as a datalogger for ECU parameters but not for things like you asked.

THe new SCT livewire will have those "G-Tech" features...but those readings arent very accurate.

The new SCT LiveWire does that, and has the features of the regular X-caliber 2, but i havent heard anything about it yet, whether its worth it or not.

if you want real valid numbers, then go to a race track and look at the printout they give you at the end of each run.

its a little pricey IMO

For a V6 with minor mods not worth it. But a V8 with nitrous and equiped with a wideband in conjunction with the Livewire it's very worth it. Especially if you have a X-cal 2 already it's only going to really cost a little over $300 after the trade in.
