Default SCT Excalibrator-now what?

OK, So I have the SCT Excalaibrator, the pc and auto cables, have the 05 Mustang GT, have the pc, have the xtreme personal tuning software, now what? Nothing works anywhere. So I called the manuafacturer.

Turns out I need the .xtr tuning files or all this is just paperweight. Anyone have any for this model?

Thanks,
Greg

Modulardepot gives you free updates for life if you buy it from them. They have also dyno-tuned the best results with different upgrades so they know what works and what doesnt.

Default Thanks! but....

Thanks for the source, but I already purchased from MustangTuning.com, unfortunately getting support from them on this is a little thin. Maybe due to demand or something, but still leaves me in the cold.

If anyone can send at least one for a stock 2005 Mustang GT/5 speed I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Greg

Default .xtr file for stock 2005 Mustang GT.

Would someone please send me their .xtr file for the stock 2005 Mustang GT? I would greatly appreciate it also! I'm anxious to start my own calibration.

We dont offer support on this item because we dont program it. STEEDA programs the 05 X-Calibrators, and theyre the only ones with the files that I know of right now.

As far as I know the PC cable comes with the X-cals that we sell...

"Special Offer! Free PC Interface Cable, a $50 value, with purchase of SCT Xcalibrator!"

Yeah we include the cable...I dunno how you missed it man, its at the bottom of the page in big red letters....:P

Well I don't know why you're talking about the cables...I received the cable and didn't ask you about that. I didn't miss anything except the lack of any function on this Xcalibrator and knowledge of what's programmed on it and that seems to be top secret for some reason. WTF good is the free "Extreme Tune" software and interface without the files to "interface" with? HowTF does anyone know what's been programmed? Maybe you folks need to explain things better. I can see by the forums that I'm not the only one left in the cold here. Common people? :violent1:
