Default Quad Shocks: To Keep or Remove?

Just wondering what you guys thought. I already have MM control arms so I don't know if it's worth it to keep them on and since I putting my FRPP handling pack in, I'm going to have to take them out anyway to install everything.

I tossed mine when i replaced the lower control arms. Less weight = faster times.

Here's a question for you guys. I just found out I'm going to need an impact driver to undo the struts. My question is how do I go about this w/o one? Turns out my friend who has one is busy this weekend and the only time he can help is the day before I go back to school, which doesn't help me since I need an alignment after I'm done.

You might not need an impact gun to remove struts. There are little slits in the top of the strut you can put a flat head screw driver in there and hold the strut while you loosen the nut with an open end wrench.
