Default 06 Factory HID problem?

The passenger headlight sometime wont turn on when I first turn the lights on... so I have to quickly turn my lights off and on and it will power up... normally on the first try..... sometimes I will have to do it a few times... anyone know a fix or this?

Check the plug into the back of the headlight itself. They do go bad from time to time.

Would any plug in the back work? or would it have to be a ford HID plug?

If its doing that I would start to think the ignitor is going out. This is what fires up the HID gases and gets the light going. I think the Ford kits have it inside the ballast if I remember correctly.

So what does that mean spike? Would I have to replace the whole light fixture or new bulbs?

You could call Ford/Saleen and see if it's a problem they've had and what they could do.

Is this just one side doing this you said?

Have you tried moving the ballast to see if the problem moves too. Because if it does then the ballast for sure is going out or has bad connectors on it.
