X2 I have also heard of people using clay with good results.

I would start with clay if you have some. And you can also use vinegar on newspapers, works very well for removing marks. However if the paint is etched, the only way to clean it is polish it out just like its paint.

There's nothing on the paint just the windshield

What Dustin said. I've always used a 1/2 and 1/2 mixtures of water and vinegar. I've never had to use clay because the vinegar works so well for me.

I ment to say glass right there. If the glass is actually etched from the water, then you will have to polish it out just like paint.

use some stoners window cleaner and some steel wool. press really hard because it will not scratch your windows unless they are beat to **** already. we use window cleaner and steel wool on windows when we have issues of overspray or tree sap that the pressure washer couldnt get off.
try this and let me know how it works

With the steel wool I'd be careful not to press to hard but it shouldn't hurt. The tint film is pretty damn durable but you should hope those watermarks are not etched in your film because I've seen that happen a lot.
