Default Deciding on rims...

hey whats up everyone? .. anyway I have a like a burgundy/laser redish mustang, and I was wondering what kind of Rims have you seen or whatever looked good on it... I personally like black with a chrome lip but that'll probably not look so good on my color .. any feedback is much appreciated, figure I consult acouple people instead of throwing out $1400ish for something ugly ... i was thinking maybe chrome cobra 95?, or 03?, chrome builts? or maybe even chrome saleens but my friend said its not a good idea to jump from 16' to
18s' .. idk kinda stumped ..

you need to bring the car down about 1.5 inchs first, the springs I recomend are eibach pros. Then go out and by you a set of 18" black Saleens wheels 9" in front and 10" in tha back.

I would recomend going to MT (www.americanmuscle.com) and getting a set of 18x9 hypercoated FR500 wheels. Getting 9 inchers all the way around will still give you SOME kind of rotateable setup. I just put those same wheels on my '02 satin silver GT and I love them! If ya dont like the hypercoated they DO have the FR500s in other finishes, even black, but I dont think black would look too good with your color car myself. Thats my 2cents worth anyway. Oh yeah blackstang did have a good point bout lowering 1.5 inches. The Eibach Pro kit is the way to go and will compliment the rims nicely. I have them on my car too!

H&R's FTW!! Forget about that Eibach junk

I think chrome would be your best option and the 95 Cobra R's 17x9 and 17x10.5 would look sick with some 315/35/17's on there.

okay well ive had my Eibachs for alittle over two years now and i love em. looks perfect with 18"s and still retains stock like ride quality, maybe better than stock. so why bash em?

but yeah the hypercoated FR500's would look sick on there, im not a big fan of chrome but thats just my 2 cents

Actually i'd have to go with Chrome 03 Cobra Rims, or some Silver 00 Cobra R Rims. It would look awesome with your color.
