Default Rims Rims Rims....

Ok so, im looking to get some new wheels and tires for my 96 GT withing a couple months, and im really an idiot when it comes to anything with cars (for now!) so i was wondering, what is it that decides whether the rim will fit the car or not. I know that I want 18 inchers probably, but, since I'm probably going to buy them off of Ebay since you cant beat the price, there isn't really much of a selection for mustangs.... theres a lot of the bullet style and a few other scattered here and there. Anyway, is it the offset or what or how do you know that the rim will fit the car.... thanks for the help

what you could do is find a set on ebay that you are interested in then go to a site that sells rims, put in your car info, and then see if those rims are available for your car

if your talkin used tires then yea Ebay is probably ur best bet, but if you want good quality new tires, and not like some ghetto 18x7 rims, Mting is the place, they got the lowest price on rims i've seen, and then tires too...u gotta figure depending on how much wear is on the tire u get if u go used ur guna have to buy new tires sooner neways...On Mting everything fits with maybe the exception of the 2005's those don't fit for sure, the off set is wrong...when in doubt ask in the tire threat....
