Default wire routing...

I'm running a bigger pwr wire (4 or 5ga.) to my amp (sony 1200watt). I'm having some fitment issues with running a wire that's (--- this big---) thru a hole in the firewall that's 0 <--that big. It's the hole by the master cylinder up high on the firewall on an 03 v6 5spd. where did everyone else that has a system in here run their wire? i had my last pwr wire running thru my sideskirt...which i thought was shitty but i was in a hurry... anyways, is there an easier route or should i just lube it up and hope for the best? thx guys!

I had 1/0 in my mustang so 4awg is simple. Theres a huge rubber grommet about 2 inches. You can pull that and run it through there. when you get to the bottom of the back seats you MAY (if you dont want it to be seen) have to drill a hole so you can come out from under the scuff plates and back plastic paneling to the side of the back bottom part of the seat. after they you can run it between the back of the bottom part of the seat and into the trunk.

make sure you seperate the wiring. The power wire should be on the drivers side, and the RCAs and remote should be on the passanger side.

you lost me when you said to drill sumthin'...i ended up coming thru the grommet with the other thousands of lil wires...thru the driver side kickplate by the dead pedal, thru the scuff plate, tucked it down the backseat on teh side under the plastic panneling, and back behind the seats. as for seperating the wires, the rca's are shielded, the remote is a pwr wire of sorts anyways, so no worries! :-) one more thing, do u have a problem with the carpet thing between ur rear speakers and the glass rattling? i've got a vibration and i think that's where it's coming from, or the amp. :-/ also, how do you have ur system set up? box..amp..subs..etc. and where do u have ur amp mounted?
