WOW, this thread is funny as hell. I love it how you say 30k car, when you bought the damn thing it dropped 10k. I am wondering how many people had to co-sign for you? Also how are you a Acura tech? This just means you either A) dropped out of school (like a LOOSER) and bummed money from the parents to have some tech school print out a certificate or B) you brag about **** that isnt even true. I dont know what it takes to get certified to be a mechanic tech but I sure as hell wouldnt want you working on any car of mine. If you were smart you would of bought a beater for the time being and saved your money instead of paying out the ***.

 

theres a lot of classes you have to attend to become an A-tech, and I know you arent an A-tech at 18, or even a B-tech. I bet you are just a lube-tech if anything and are barely struggling to make payments, living at your moms house.

Trust me when I tell you this, from being a previous civic owner they are nicer than the American compact cars out there.

My buddy has a 01 focus, my wife has had two cavaliers, I had a 01 neon, all where junk comared to my 00 Civic. I am by no means saying all domestics are junk or that all imports are better.

But saying a blanket statement that American cars are better because they cost more is just as dumb if not more than someone saying all imports are nicer.

 

I will agree that most import compact cars are nicer than american compact cars. A SVT Focus though is pretty nice. My friend has one and it's a fun little car to drive. It could also be the vortech supercharger on it that makes it even more fun though.

I would also love to see 300whp out of a N/A civic. Not saying it's impossible cause just about everything is possible with enough money and time, but it seems like a big stretch to me. So if you get 300whp will you have a whopping 200wtq?

 

I see this as being possible, but a **** load of money. Import parts are expensive and adding roughly around 140whp N/A will not be cheap. Looks like your 30K civic will be turning into possibly a 40k+ civic. Congrats on the great purchase.

You keep bragging about the fact you just bought a $30k car. I assume you didn't slap down a stack of cash or write a check, so basically you have only bought one month of the car or however many payments you have made on it. That is nothing to brag about. You don't buy anything until it is yours. When you have the title for the car, then you can brag about buying a $30k Civic.

agreed, I said wrong. My mom just got rid of her 2000 Taurus(biggest piece of **** ive ever been in) for a c230 benz(very nice ride), so I know how bad some american cars are. I meant that statement in the context of $30,000 for a civic, people dont buy taurus's and focus's for 30 g's. They buy lincolns or cobra's, even used vettes which are better than civics, eclipses, hyundai

 

For 30K I would have much rather of gotten a 03/04 cobra, 01 corvette ZO6, a Mach1, 350 Z, 05 G35 coupe, or pretty much anything other than a civic.

I think what kills me about his statement is that so many people have at least $30 grand in there car give or take. For instance my car= $12,000 + parts and labor= $16,452 all of this equals up to what you paid (and still climbing). The thing is nothing compares to the sound of a supercharged american V8. And yes I heard your video and it sounds like every other rice burner around here. Drop all kinds of money into your car and make 300 N/A and I along with several other members will still beat you. The funny thing is that no matter what you do it will always be a 4 cyl., always be slow, and always be considered a DD not a show/performance car. I think it is funny how you brag about making that much money at the age of 18 but yet what you are doing is a cop out in my opinion. Instead of going to school to be something bigger than that you settle for that kind of money at a young age and never push yourself to possible make more than 6 figures. I dont know if you are really fat or not but if you are you could have not wasted part of your monthly payment on that car and got a gym memembership. Its kids like you that end up on everyones last nerve.
