the ones i have dont have the sharp angle cut so it helps not have them "concealed" as much

Yea, they are supposed to be Black Chrome and even in day light they are more black than chrome. They still have a little "pop" to them when the sun hits them, but not as much. I don't care, actually they'll go even better with my rear when I'm finished.
