sounds good. not to hard to fix a valve..... all the nick nacs on a 5.4 will cost over 100 bucks. i'd buy it before someone else does.

***IDEA***

since a few of us are done or close to being done. i'm sure most of us have a bunch of leftover parts we didn't need, lets make a list of extras to help out the up and coming swappers with thiers. i know between hunters swap and mine i have a ton of extras, r3d is probably in the same boat....

cast or forged will take 500+ hp so unless your trying to make something crazy, you'll be ok

How much would this cost to do a 5.4 Swap? What's the MPG on it?
What car comes with the 5.4L?

1. read the thread, there are tons of different people that have spent anywhere from $1200-7000+... depends on what u want

2. mpg is probably close to the same as a 4.6 with the same heads and intake. a lot of mpg's depends on how u drive .

very very nice sir. i should have my engine by the end of the week. for those of yall that dont know, i got a 99 expedition engine for $100. its not complete but the block and everything that comes in the block. only problem is the guy says it had a burnt valve so will need new valves and some machining probably, but for $100 im not gonna get a better deal. plus its local so no shipping.

Default Trick Flow heads

I just went to an event at my local track this weekend. There was a Trick FLow booth with several heads on display there. I got a chance to get an up close look at the modular heads. When I left, the rep. handed me a coupon for Summit for 10% off virtually anything they sell. He said the heads sell for $1999.00 so that would be $200 off of these heads. I have a cupon code you can use of it can be used online also. If anybody is SERIOULSLY interested in doind that, let me know.

Dayum... he's offering one of you 200 bucks, I'd take it. FYI, when you spend more than 100 bucks with summit they send you back a 20 dollar summit bucks #, so he's offering you a free 200 bucks and then a free 20 bucks.

BTW... If anyone has any summit bucks codes they haven't used yet PM me. Maybe we can take up a collection. I have 1 20 dollar code I haven't spent yet.

ok i have a question. would it be easier to run longtubes if i had a tubular k, like would that make it possible to run lt's for my cobra cus i found a good deal on some for my 96. and also are frpp shorty headers even worth the investment. with a tubular k what are my choices for headers for my dohc 5.4 in a 96?

Aight boys and girls I got my block and crank I was leaning toward a built 2v but..... I got a opportunity to grab the entire terminator set up heads, cams, lower w supercharger, complete intake sys w c&l tube, sct maf, 60# injectors twin pumps, and accufab thottle body intercoolers and pump all supporting hardware. Everything but short block. Any ideas on swapping onto my nvh block... just adapter plates??? I mean the entire thing is cheaper than a torqtech lower. I use my phone 4 my internet so let me see if I can get a pic of my stang up... any info on this would be helpful. If you'd rather just email me then send to stangbang84@gmail.com thanks. =)

from what i have heard, there is not really any difference in upgrading shorty headers. keep them stock unless u already have them lol.

the long tubes that FTP are making eill work with a 4v if you get 4v flanges. car craft had them for 60 bucks. just call them and tell them it's for a 4v and there should be no problem making them
