go with the 62 on a stock engine. Better throttle response, and a little power. Maybe a tenth quicker in the 1/4 mile

I'm not sure what brand your looking at buying, but if you can hold out for a bit Accufab is coming out with a new dual 60mm throttle body for the 1999-2001 Cobra and 2003-2004 Mach 1. I'm waiting for it also. Accufab probably makes the best TB around....in my opinion at least

The TB isn't gunna do too much for you to begin with...but if your set on doing it (it's your car) hold out for the Accufab. I've heard nothing but bad about BBK on 99 snakes

Yeah, I've heard horrible things about the BBK TB for the 99-01 cobra's and machs....I won't be doing this mod until I see some proven test results. There is a guy on the Mach 1 registry that apparently knows someone at MM&FF and they are going to be doing some testing and write up in the next 3-4 months or so.

I had a C&L Plenum and Accufab Throttle Body on my 03 GT and it made some difference. I didn't put the car on a dyno to prove it, but there was some increased power in the upper rpm's. Try a a search and you'll find a crap load of info aobut plenums and tb's.

there was a throttle body/plenum combo showdown somewhere where accufab combo produced the most power at the wheels with all variables constant. Youll pay a couple extra bucks for the setup so if that doesnt bother you for 2 hp, go with any other combo. remember it may save your wallet now but if you add forced induction or any else major upgrade, that number will be less drastic in addition to your power adder compared to the accufab setup.
