Default New FFPP intake?

Not sure if we have discussed this intake yet on these boards. Check it out though, looks like a big let down. http://s121.photobucket.com/albums/o...urrent=058.mp4

or maybe it was installed wrong?

Hmmmm....I don't see how the intake couldn't flex with the motor...

I call installation wrong...my whole motor shifts when it revs, intake to oil pan.

But nonetheless that flex looks pretty shitty. I never like FRPP performance parts....just IMO.

Hotrod cams are useless when compared to other cams, the intake i could've guessed would be junk, and their heads are overpriced too. Oh well.

Its good to see a cheap option for an intake manifold, but usually when its cheap its cheap. And doesn't give power.

Its the new 3V intake by FRPP. The gains were very small unless you are under blown applications.

Which has been the case for all the aftermarket 3v intake manifolds.....

And when compared to the C&L and sheetmetal intakes the FRPP one still sucks lol.

I like that FRPP is trying to offer parts like these, but seeing videos like this ruins any high expectations I had. Hopefully the Boss 302's intake is better than this!!!

That fuel line looks like it could cause some major problems down the line.

Hooray for plastic!!!

I mean seriously...why would you want plastic on something like an intake manifold anyways?

C&L all the way. I love how as the thread goes on more people say they see it too....I feel some cracked manifolds coming along.

I have never seen anything like that before. That is a **** ton of movement. Has to be a bad casting.

If you look at the thread tens of people have said that theirs do the same thing....

FRPP fail IMO. Even if it doesn't cause a problem, its still flexing and it still isn't working 100% proper in my opinion.

The fact that Ford says it causes no damage turned me off even more. IT ******* FLEXES! All it would take is some thicker plastic there to keep it from "breating" lol. But thats too much to ask from a $700 intake manifold.

Don't really need any more intake manifold than the car comes with stock. If you have a blower car C&L makes a great intake. Ford waste time money and effort to make a hyper-flexible hunk of **** wtih a major manufacturing defect (incorrect materials selection)
