i'm not too sure what your asking...but yeah they are illegal, and an o/r xpipe is the uncatted version of a xpipe. It is gonna give a lot louder raspier sound than one with cats. I dont know if thats what you are looking for...

The front 02's are so the computer can read your a/f, you dont want to delete those. The rear ones are for the emissions.

When i swapped out my BBK O/R H-Pipe I got a set of MIL eliminators, it's more annoying then anything just to have the check engine light on. Even with the MIL's I pulled a code...I think PO136 If memory serves correct, rear passenger side 02 sensor malfunction. Came on intermittently every few months for the first year running the sensors. It hasn't come on in Six months.

If you get the vehicle tuned, the rear 02 sensors can be turned off...and no need for MIL's.

Hope that helps. BTW you'll love the sound of the O/R Pipe

lightning it seems that you and me have had the same problem. I just got an o/r xpipe installed yesterday and for the whole day my MIL eliminators were working good. I started it in the morning and the check engine light came on and ever since then it won't turn off. Anybody have any advice, other than taking it back to where i got it installed to check and see if everything is plugged correctly?? i need some help, the check engine light is way to annoying...

Just disconnect the negative side of the battery. That might turn the code off until you can get the car back into the shop.

I think after the third or fourth time clearing the code with a codescanner...it just went away and never came back. I never messed with the sensor or MIL's during any of this time. I just had the rear 02 sensors turned off via a tune, and will be selling the MIL's as i have no use for them.

you could also get a diablosport tuner. Obviously it's going to cost more, however if you plan on doing things to your car in the future it's worth the money. You will also get a little more response out of it because the tuner advances the timing a bit. However this makes you run premium gasoline.

The tuner lets you set all kinds of parameters though. Say you get gears, they will mess up your speedo but with the tuner you can tell your car it's got 4.10's or 3.73's or whatever and it will correct it. You can also adjust it if you get larger wheels and such.

If you don't plan on doing anything else just get the mils!
