Question 30lb. Injectors

I was wondering...if I get the 30lb injectors, would I have to upgrade anything else like my fuel pump, or MAF? And would I get a noticible horsepower gain out of it? By the way, what is the stock injector size for a 2002 Mustang GT? :helpsmili

What mods do you have. 30lbs on a stock motot won't do anything but empty your wallet.

2002 should come with the pink topped 21/22 lbs injectors (they're almost 22lbs so some call them 21, others call them 22's). I call them 21's since they're not by any means all the way to 22lbs/hr.

Those injectors are good to about 300rwhp before you need to bother bumping to anything bigger.

The bigger the injectors that you have, the more potential fuel you can add IF your car is capable of making that much more power. Your 22's are capable of something like 350ish rwhp...prolly more then that.

If you do upgrade your injectors, you need a tune. In some cases you need a new MAF for larger hp applications as the stock MAF is limited to only support so much hp.
