Dont believe everything ford says.......age, wear and tear, small out of whack things in your computer.......Ford doesnt dyno every car that they make so they cant be totallly correct. Springstang is correct with every bolt on excluding a supercharger this engine usually only hits in the 265-270 range. only with cams heads and other internal parts you can see numbers up there. Wait were talking about at the crank.......screw the crank whats important is at the wheels.

And 2 valves have their downside in the HP numbers but our torque numbers is what makes them appealing. Springs better watch what you say you just insulted your own car...lol :loser:

That may be true at the crank...but like I said what matters is at the wheels thats some pretty high numbers on a GT vert.

Some one said something about the only way to get up in the 300s (RWHP) is cams, heads, and some other engine parts. Question: why not just save that money and put a lil more towards a blower? With MPH heads and cams your already lookin at close to 3000! Is it for reliability purposes?

stang00: cams and the custom tune play a big part

csledd: i only have a vid of a drive by, i'll take one soon of my cam. It's very unnoticable, since they're basically stage 1 cams.

here's the drive by vid: http://videos.streetfire.net/player....2-AB68266EDD49

Yep. I was one of the first ones there, left a little bit after the 300C SRT-8 went on the dyno. I had the dark gray GT parked right next to the shop.
