Haha, thanks Dave. I didn't expect anyone to actually make a thread. It was more just a comment to keep O/T'ers out of there.
EDIT: I just noticed the actual comment.
Go ahead, slap me in the face. It'd be less painful than a 7yr car payment.
This is not a practical car to be my DD in Colorado. It's a fun as hell summer car here, but it deserves to be with someone who can drive it all of the time. I need a 4x4.

keeping it could be an investment. I mean imagine what it might fetch on an auto auction like mecum or something later on down the road, granted it isnt stock anymore tho so im not sure how that affects the value of it. dont do man, if you end up posting pics later on of a new maro imma havta slap someone yo

mine is only a sixer but you can do anything to these cars, there are numerous setups that can be done as long as you have a body to work with. So unless mine gets stolen or totalled im keeping my **** too. Its a platform to start from at least, and shes been pretty good to me thus far, i mean the way i rag this **** out sometimes, any other car wouldve blew up already or fallen apart. I think ford knows pretty much how these cars are gonna be treated so they make em reasonably tough

I can guarantee that keeping the car is NOT an investment. Mustangs are all over the place. Keeping an 80s Ferrari in MINT condition is an investment. And something about being $3,000 upside down on my loan indicates that I am in no position to buy a new camaro -- plus, I think they're ugly.

Anyway, you go ahead and keep you "****". If it makes you happy, then who cares. Like I said, mine is impractical for the weather we encounter here. Not only do I want a 4x4, I need a 4x4. I'm currently looking at a higher mileage light suv, so hopefully I can sell this before the weekend so that I can pick it up.

i drove my friends Chevy Colorado from the mountain today since he was completely tanked after we left the resort's bar and it drove really nicely (it was the 5 cyl version.) i enjoyed the drive back...though i was exhausted after 2 winter lagers (heavy beer + all day snowboarding = tired drive home)

Seriously? You really think I should keep the car?

RWDs around here (CO) are impractical. Don't believe me? Well, today it snowed a total of maybe 3 1/2'' and I took the mustang to work which is about 3 miles away from my house. When I left work at 6pm I could not get out of the parking lot (it wouldn't even move more than 2ft) and had to call a friend to pick me up in their pickup. And if someone thinks that I just don't know how to drive in the snow, then they can take their mustang up here and we'll see who gets further.
