wrecked the stang today
I wrecked the stang today, I was driving to a friends house today and it was raining and a douchebag in front of me slammed the brakes and i slammed the brakes and since the streets were wet my car just slid so to avoid hitting him i turned to the right onto the grass and went down a small ditch and skid into a tree. Really sucks, my pops said insurance will most likely call it a total lost because of how bad it was, i was pretty shocked on how easily everything broke, the bumper shattered into like a billion pieces, my hood cracked, my fender dented, the chin spoiler somehow survived it unharmed, both my headlights broke, i dont know how bad the engine is because i wasn't able to pop open the hood, the whole front all sortof shifted and the hood wouldn't open. I'll take pics of it tomorrow. I was really dissapointed with the car, if it is a total lost im prolly not gonna get another stang, im thinking something like a nissan 350z or an Infinity G35.

hey watever floats your boat... if ya want something cheap, easy to work on, easy to make fast, and relatively safe... get an older car... a classic or even a mustang prior to '94...

all new cars are made like that. they have crumple zones which are supposed to cave in. its meant to slow down the impact. otherwise everybody would have whiplash from every fender bender. i gurantee if you did the same thing in a 350z or g35 you'd have the same results.

If yer neck is fine then dont try it.
as far as the mustangs being made out of cheap stuff, the car IS designed to take the full impact and keep you safe. You can go with an old classic, but that same wreck would have probably ****ed you all up.
the car is meant to be disposable, you arent.

all cars are designed to crumple now. I know a few people who have survived horrible accidents in mustangs.
