Default Wrecked my Stang

On my way home friday night... I was getting off a ramp went into second gear and started to fish tell right and left and hit a light pole and endend up in a ditch... Both of my air bags came out and let me say they smell so bad... I did walk away went no broken bones... And my car is on its way to a body shop....
Here are some pic...

glad your fine and all.

but it is very dumb to down shift in those type of weather conditions. that rear end will whip on you so fast you wouldnt know what to do.

any vehicle in the conditions we had friday didnt have an easy time. On my way to the accident I saw atleast 7 single car accidents. Even I was sliding alittle in the tahoe and I turned on my Auto 4x4. It could of been worse.

Your stang can be fixed glad to see you are ok. What happens now with the light pole you knocked down do you have to pay for it?

When I first opened this thread a day or so ago I was wondering if they would make you pay for it. That aint gonna be cheap.

Damn that sucks. Took out the whole telephone pole! Could have been much worse. Ive seen cars literally wrapped around the pole or cuttin cars into half. Did it bust the radiator? Looks like a good 3k or more in damage. Just got mine out of the bodyshop from when someone keyed the entire back of it so I know it sucks while the car is in the shop.

Total Damage cost is 6500.00 and they may find more things are they get more into the car and if it hits close to 13000.00 which the car is valued at then its total. The Adjuster said the car color is rare in maryland

Alright I just talked to my friend and there gonna fix it. I also asked if she could just replaced the GT hood with a Cobra R hood and he said not a problem. So Where should we get the hood? One they will fit the first time.

I've seen a couple on ebay buy it now for 240.00 with 176.00 shipping. But I've always said to myself your get what you pay for which means what are the chances of that hood setting right after its been adjusted millions of times. Mustangtuning has the Cervini's 2000 Style Cobra R Hood (99-04 Mustang) for 559.99. Are they pretty good? Not saying were gonna buy it from them just curious about Cervini's.

i have that hood. it bolted right up to the stock hood brackets. i had to do some minor fab work. the body shop did their thing to get it lined up and got rid of all the imperfections. its a little bit lighter than the stock peice but not by much. did i mention that the hood is huge. pictures dont give the thing justice.

edit: you cant move the hood around on the brackets. so the only way it will line up is if you mess with the fenders. thats for the body shop to figure out.

cervinis is good. VIS is good and there is another company cant think of their name though

my hood after paint. my dad said it sits a little low on the right, o well it looks good in the pics.
