******* morons. They all should have died horrible painful deaths, and the car should have crashed right into their house and exploded, killing the ******* idiots that raised them.

I would assume their insurance would have to cover it.

Who the hell would give them the keys to that car? I'd be lucky if they gave ME the keys to that car without them riding with me!

yeah, i went to test drive a GTO, because i was serious on getting it. And after the guy drives my car, gives me an trade value, and works all the papers up, and i jew him down to 10k plus tax, licensing. he tells me i have to be 21 to drive it. OR have a parent with me.

Yeah those kids are stupid as **** and so is the person who gave them the keys. Who in the hell would give 3 teenage kids the keys to a BRAND NEW V8 Mustang and not even ride with them? And if you were the kid driving why in the hell would you drive a brand new car like that?

I wouldn't want to be the one responsible for giving them the keys. I hope they were all ok but I have a hard time believing they all walked away with scrapes and bruises if they weren't even wearing seatbelts.

oh the beauty of being 21..lol.

back in 2007, i test drove an 06 mustang gt with me and my friend who was looking at a used jeep. the GT had 3000 miles on it and the salesman gave the keys to me and didnt go with me. it was raining and i was taking a RWD car on a test drive. i had the POS beater that is all dinged up with me that day. not a care in the world some of these dealers.

Maybe thats cause you went in with such a shitty offer, he looked at your age, and figured you weren't very serious. I probably would have done the same thing.

A few years ago when the 05's had just come out I was shopping around for the car I eventually bought. I drove to a local ford dealer to see what they had on the used lot. Of course one of the lot attendants came out to "help". After telling me that they didn't have any used GT's on the lot he insisted on trying to sell me a new 05 GT and had me test drive it. He rode in the car with me, but even before we were leaving the lot he encouraged me to get on it for the test drive. I turned out onto the side street and put it through its paces shifting at close to redline, broke the tires loose for a second gong into second and was going over 100 before shifting out of 3rd gear. The salesmen didn't complain and even encouraged me to do it again on the way back to the dealership, so I could feel the car's power. I couldn't believe a salesman would actualy encourage someone to drive like that on a test drive.

As a teenager, your body is very resilient to extreme bounces and bumps. I was involved in a wreck at 17 and we were in a 66 chevelle. I'm a passenger BTW. We ran off the road on a curve, hit a tree at over 80mph broadside that flipped us so hard the car flipped end over end at least once then barrel rolled. no seat belts. Driver was ejected sometime during the wreck. I just bounced around inside until it stopped.

I crawled out the back window and saw my buddy laying in the road, under the tree we hit, (it knocked the whole tree down), He was ok except for a big gash in his head. I lost both my shoes, and even the wallet in my jeans.

The chevelle was almost cut in half at the drivers door, and the rest was a complete mess. The car fell apart after it was towed and the truck driver said he shredded 2 tires from debris falling off.. After the ER I left ok and the driver got a bunch of sutures in his fat head. I had glass inbedded in my face that has been pushing it's way out for years. Plus I'm pretty sure is why my neck and shoulders are pretty much, not lined up right.. I was sore as hell for a few weeks after, But I'm paying for it now.. I hurt almost everyday but That's my own fault. And yes the driver was issued a DUI.. I quit hanging out with him after this.. Sorry for the lenghty post, but it's good to air out my feelings about teens driving. They almost certainately will not make the right choice. Escpecially with a fast car.. And unfortunately some will die as a result..

Anyway

BTW after further researching this story I doubt more and more that it is true. The story only appears on a few far-from-credible websites
