no i honest to god wasn't speeding, trust me i'm the first to admit when i've done something wrong. In this instance I'm not wrong at all IMO. I was doing the posted speed limit and below on both roads, i never gave it anymore then maybe 30% throttle to accelerate around the corner(it was less then half throttle thats for sure) and back up to speed. i never exceeded 45mph which was the posted limit.

i totally agree. but, no i can maybe at most foresee careless driving (even then i'd still fight it) but reckless driving, no way in hell and like i said i wasn't even speeding at all. it was 1am-ish in the morning and even though my car is blacked out with my exhaust and HID's I stick out like a sore thumb, so I dont do anything wrong to try and avoid stuff like this.

I see you have an issue with critical thinking / reading. Might wanna get that looked at.

As far as " spinning your tires", or even chirping them, yes you can legally get a ticket for that, even at way under the speed limit. I left my workplace 1 nite in my old truck and the parking lot entrance/exit has a huge grade difference. I chirpped my tires while pulling onto the main road. Chirpped the tires and then blue lights. Officer said he heard my tires squeel. I said "yes sir, there's a big hump from the exit to the main road, and it was not purposely done. He ran a check on my flawless driving record and told me to " have a nice day" sorry to hold you up from getting off work.. I said thank you sir. have a great night.. No harm, no foul, guess it depends on your attitude and the cops too..

I got a ticket for "spinning drive wheels" a couple years ago...mostly because I drive a red rice-mobile with a huge ******* wing on the back and the asshat cop that pulled me over probably had a bad donut that evening or something.
Aaanyway, I fought it in court and won.
Now I'm not saying you're gonna win, cuz your situation sounds a little different, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
Someone here said your past driving record will hurt you in a court case, but I disagree....never once did my shitty driving record come up during ANY of my court trials, so....
Yeah.
Good luck.

Man, it all depends on the mood of the cop, and your attitude. If he was already stressed about something else, then nothing you could have said or done was gonna change his mind. If you had been anything But coopertive then you may have pissed him off even further. Then it could have resulted in the infamous "please step out of the vehicle", and the the search for a weapon, and then you asking him " why, what, etc, and you getting Tazed. LOL. seems to be alot of that going around lately.. Don't taze me Ho..

Cops really are the one part of American society that need more checks and balances. Forget Congress, Cops do some of the real damage a lot of times. I mean seriously, they can pull you over for ANYTHING these days. I got pulled over for no reason last year! Two chick cops pulled me over for, "Failing to use a [nonexistant] right turn lane on a one way street". :| She didn't even write me a warning! Just told me to go. Isn't that like against their rules or something??

I think the point that he was trying to make is that damn near everyone drives 5 mph over the speed limit, and most cops dont give a damn, so the cop that pulled him over was obviously being a dick.
