Default Hood Scoop Opinion(s) needed.

As you see, i have a 2000. I bought a 01-04 scoop, I took it to a very good body shop, and they quoted me at 300, for install and paint. I'm not exactly sure if i'm about to fork out $500 dollars total for a hood scoop. Should i just do it? I love the look of the scoop on the 01-04's, but im not sure if its worth it.

Yay or Nay?

just seems like an awful lot of money for a vision obstruction to me... I hate the damn things from inside the car... and I'm kinda indifferent from outside.

**** man, i was quoted $318 to paint and install a brand new hood for my car. Thats a ridiculous amount for a hood scoop.

I'd look for a different body shop or try it yourself. That's an ungodly amount for a two bolt install.
