Every v6 I have heard that doesn't have cats has sounded like crap. If you get rid of the downstream cats it might not be so bad. The ones I heard may have only removed the rear ones, IDK. An H/X pipe will do little to nothing for a v6 because it is a even (straight?) firing engine. Meaning only one cylinder combusts at a time. (Someone correct me on this if I am wrong.)

were talking about a V6. An X pipe is the worst idea imaginable for a V6. And if you think I'm crazy just think to yourself why you would put a complete cross over midpipe on an even firing engine. It's not like a V8 where its fired in internals.

yes an H-pipe sounds good on a v6. and it will help your performance only if you have mods that help your engine flow more.

I had an H on mine with flow 40's it sounded good and quiet. I dropped the cats and It sounded like crap. I have headers and 2 cats toward the x pipe with 2.5" dumps and i get more complements on it... IMHO dont get flowmaster sounds like a tin can.
