Question Got a speeding ticket on an indian reservation..

So I'm headed back to colorado from vegas on sunday morning..I'm headed northeast on I-15. I'm about an hour outside of Vegas cruisin in my buddy's R/T magnum..it's just so smooth.. it does 100 and it feels like 40. Well I come up over a hill not even paying attention to speed and a R/T Charger with blue and reds nails me..he flips the lights and floors it. He pulls me over and said I was doing 97 in a 75. He was a nice enough guy, saying that he won't give me an actual ticket, he'll just give me a citation of sorts with a fine on it. Meaning no insurance and no points off my license. So I took it..350 dollar fine

I got to reading the ticket and the reason he couldn't give me a real ticket is because it was on MOAPA INDIAN RESERVATION. Something about Tribal court and whatnot. I read the back and it said the only penalty of failure to pay was a civil suit. They can't even legally arrest you.

So my question is..should I pay this ticket?

Its up to you but they will do what they have to do to get your fine. Lawyers and court cost, etc. If you know any truck drivers that run cross country ask them! Long story that goes with that.

if you don't live in the state then I say don't bother, then they can try a civil suit but they lack jurisdiction in Colorado so they can probably go ahead and suck your dick.

I'd consult a lawyer before choosing an action or inaction.
