alright there are two other guys in my small town that have nice cars and are out on a regular basis.. one has a stock '03 cobra, and the other has a '02 camaro ss. i plan on running both of them soon, but i was just wondering how far behind ill be

 

If you have a 98 GT. I'm gunna go with pretty far behind. Sick gears though. You definitely don't fear the gear. Speaking of, haha, hows first gear for ya?

You may be able to take the camaro. I've bet a 00' TA with a stock LS1 and auto.

hmm 16 years old with a cobra and 4.30 gears.....if i were the other 2 i wouldnt even let you in the race....but whatever...you still didnt give us the year of your car

The cobra is a no go unless hes a bad driver. The Ls1 is a maybe depending on mods. I have beat lightly modded ls1 with my car when It was n/a and had less mods. Granted i had drag radials and he never caught back up to me. Buts it possible, but i have also been destroyed by lightly modded ones too. Its a drivers race with the ls1 if stock or lightly modded.

you should be able to stick with the SS down low, but then he will get you up top. i'm assuming you're going to be running a drag radial. I have 2 buddy's that have run 13.3's with their stock auto LS1's, so if you get traction you'll get a jump on the SS from the line.

 

yeah its a 98.. i figured id be a ways behind, im going out there in about twenty minutes to meet up with them. ill let you know how it worked out
