Question about a Trans swap.
I just Bought a TR-3650 out of an 03 Mustang GT. I’m wanting to Swap it into my 2000 Crown Vic. The problem I ran into is the TR3650 uses an electronic speed sensor instead of a speedometer gear, VS. My Crown Vic, Which does have VSS, uses a sensor that rears how fast the speedometer gear is spinning.
Is there anyway I can either upgrade or down grade?
The Crown Vic uses the same 4R70W Auto Trans as the Mustang of the same year, so think more along the line of me wanting to swap a 5-speed into a three year older Mustang. In case that helps you a little bit.
