How did you deal with the ECU issues. Did you change it, or tune it?
When I bought my car my wife said ok as long as it was an auto. That's some wifely advice I wish I would have not followed.

I left the stock ECU the only issue I have right now is the CEL is on and my speedodmeter only reads to 30 Mph, I still have not reflashed the computer yet but will get that done and get it tuned this week but it drives sweet I really thought I would have some issues with the RPMs hanging while the computer still tries to shift the auto but it has not done that

it drives great and sounds good enough to give a DEF man a woody

what parts of the swap were the PITA parts? Did you have to modify the trans tunnel at all?

Trans tunel was ok,the hardest part was the pedals, i took the seat out and it still sucked so i removed the steering colum, and it made it easy, it really is just time consuming

Post the dyno graph when you get it tuned. And were those cams degreed? Can you give me some specs about the heads, flow #, what valves and springs are you using?

If this is what you go for it, I was quoted 600-650 for the install at a performance shop

Were there any rough spots during the main removal/install? Usually it's easy to remove things off the car, so I'm not worried about dropping the auto part. But was there anything to worry about when installing the manual tranny?

Also, what did you do for the dust shield? Where did you get the shield and bolt for it? The dealer quoted me $18 for that bolt, and my thread pitch gauge won't fit in the little hole so I don't know what size bolt goes in there.
