More annoying noises
Well now my car has developed a very low, deep, extremely noticeable 'worble' sound that goes at the rate of the tires at all times. It sounds like it's coming from the front but I can't narrow it down to a side, there are no vibrations or anything in the steering wheel and it drives fine but it sounds like I'm driving on studded off-road tires and it's really god damned annoying.
Any ideas? I'm really, really ******* sick of this car.

Hmm, I don't know - it's not a ticking noise, it's like a 'worble', and also If I just make a hard left turn while going very slow I can hear some ticking/clicking in my front right hub area. I looked up wheel bearings and found this, which is almost exactly how mine sounds.
The low quality tire noise is just like what it sounds like, so I went ahead and bought a new hub; was gonna take it apart and check it today but it's raining, so gotta wait now.
Recently the other GM OEM wheel hub began to wear out and cause a loud drone inside the car from the friction of the worn metal bearing. The sound of a wheel bearing that needs to be replaced is similar to the road noise created by low quality tires but much louder

My car was doing that recently, I changed both hub assemblies at the same time. Fixed it and tightened my front end up.
Pulled the hubs off and ball bearings flew everywhere.. Lucky my spindle didnt get wore down.
Look to spend around 60 - 80 bucks a side.

I wish I could zigg, if I get a real jerb (applied for the census bureau LOL) I can save up enough and have a way to pay off a loan, I can buy myself the wrecked terminator I've always wanted and get my turd sorted out.
Made about $500 detailing this past week so that was promising, about $100 of it is already gone for maintenance crap, though.

Dont cheap on the grease when you put it back together. People always want to use the cheapiest chemicals when they do some repair. You should pull your hubs every 30k and clean and repack the bearing. Hope that takes care of you noise though!
