P0605 PCM Read Only Memory Error. i got this code.. Whats that mean? do i ave to replace my ecu? if so im ordering it today..

The car does run, but every once in awhile when i go to start it up it will start up stall out and backfire.

Im looking at a rebuilt and reprogramed ECU for $250.oo. But i have to ship my old one back to them as a core charge i guess..
