Default I've asked this before but forgot!

Its that short term memory! But hmm, the kennebell supercharger, 6-9PSI? I want cams. What are good cams for superchargers that sound good and aggressive..So would 6 psi and cams be good for the stock block? what about 9 psi and cams? Too much power for the stock block?

Blower cams are specific to blower applications but help NA cars too. You're looking for a good lobe separation angle with little overlap and a bias to the exhaust side on duration. VT makes a good stage 2 blower cam.

VT Stage 2 blower cams are good. I wouldn't do them with a 9psi Kenne Bell. Full bolt ons + kenne bell should put you at 390 - 410 rwhp. Now if it's going on a pretty much stock GT, you'll probably see around 370rwhp. It's not worth the extra $1500 it would cost you for cams, springs, and labor when you could just throw a smaller pulley on the blower if you want to make more power. In other words, forget about cams on a stock short block if you're getting a supercharger.

its all up to you. depends on how much and how hard you drive ur stang.

a few GTs around here have lasted for a while with around 430rwhp...its just how much and how hard u drive her...

if you want to get blower cams i would look at modular powerhouse blower cams.

I think you might be pushing with cams and 8-9#, I made 420 with 8# on my 2.2 w/ hooker l/t and o/r x-pipe, magnapack catback, jlt cai and sct 2800 maf. I would guess it would be around a 30-40hp gain with cams which i think might be a bit much on the stock longblock. As for cams if you can find some vt stage 2 or 3 blower cams some one might have laying around if not i would go with Houston Performance.

thats because you have a huge blower. its not in its effiency zone yet at 8 psi and thats some good power.

for the OP a KB 2.1 is advertised to get you close to 400 hp with the 9 psi pulley. once you put cams on you will lose a pound or 2 of boost but you will be pushin 20-40 more horspower with less timing. get modular powerhouse blower cams. my car has 12# and has max timing of 12* at 400 hp through a auto so my motor is maxed and has been this way for 20K miles. be safe and wait to do cams when you build a motor or blow yours up.

if you have your mind set on cams, there is a guy on modularpowerhouse selling used MPH blower cams for $550. VT advertises that their stage 2 blower cams made 87 hp on stock heads. I wouldn't really beleive those numbers, but you should certainly see an extra 50-60 hp with the VT's.
