I found a car that I'm interested in getting since all I have is a '95 Mustang V6. The car is a 1997 Mustang GT manual, with some other upgrades.

The person had said that when driving on the highway(over 65mph) there is an annoying 'ticking' noise. I know that is nothing of an explanation, but does anyone have any idea what it possibly could be and if it costs a lot of $$?

 

It's really not something you could diagnose from just a simple tick. Could be anything really..how certain are you that it's coming from the tranny? Is it hard to shift into gears?
