dont bother with hawks. I have satisfied brakes pro ceramics on now, they are good and dust very very little way less then stock. I like them alot. I hear autozone and advanced both have a cheapo ceramic pad thats sopposed to be pretty good also. If you do go with satisfied brake pads get them from advanced discount auto they ship for free and i got the front and backs for 93bucks to my door cheapest price and free shipping whats not to like?

Second that w/ Satisfied but step up to their GS6 pads. I got them for my rears and they just perform great. I haven't noticed any more dust than stock (but then again, I got the stock gray Bullitt wheels so it does blend in) and you will notice an improvement in braking. Just one note. Their rear pads are for both Cobra and GT so they are the same thickness as the Cobras which means expect slightly less pad life due to the reduced thickness.

I just did a break job on my stang not long ago, the stock pads on my car were still in decent shape considering they were on there when I got the car new! I put over 70K miles on those pads. The reason I done a break job is cuz my rotors were SHOT to hell and back! So while I was tired of getting the shaky steering wheel and the pedle pulse I decided to go with Baer Decella (sp?) drilled and slotted rotors. I got those from Auto Zone ($219 a pair)...well of course while I was there I told them to give the BEST brake pads they had. I ended up with the Duralast Gold..... Sounded nice anyway! Well I got everything put on (rotors look bad ***!) and there is virtually no dust at all off the pads. The prob with the Auto Zone pads are when they get hot they are GONE! They get hot pretty damn easy too! I was doing some red light racing one day and damn near rolled right through a light cuz the brakes was giving out! LOL

Your fluid can be boiling too. Id change your fluid out for a DOT4 or a high quality DOT3.
