Default need new brake pads

any suggestions. wont see any road courses. i dont need anything too aggresive.

damn wheels and exhaust questions get answered hella fast but when it comes to something different like brakes there is no love.

I enjoy my Bendix.......but I want to go back to ceramic pads again. Just get some OE pads

Seriously, the Ford OE pads should be just fine.

OE should be fine unless you want to jump up to a little more aggressive pad. Hawks are great for the money or you can try Brembos.

the pads that are on the car right are OE and dust way too much. these things were on my car for about 20k miles.

EBC Green will make you happy.

They're pretty damned aggressive and will wear rotors faster than stockers but they don't make much dust and they're very streetable with a much stronger initial bite.

I'd take this opportunity to say, Cobra brake upgrade! Dust is a fact of life. Ceramic pads don't dust much but you have to be careful which pad you get, the ceramics have a super wide operating temperature range... if you get too hot a pad, they'll work like shi_t until they get hot, then they'll chip your teeth.

get the Hawk Ceremic pads. They keep dust at minimum. and are a great pad...so I hear untill i get mines installed..

i looked at those but they dont make them for cobra calipers.

ok i found some they are 100 bucks i can ask shambles if he can do a few bucks better. one thing i read about these on tire rack with mustangs is that they squel a lot when they are hot. i figure that is because they didnt follow instructions on how to break them in correctly and they didnt get their rotors re finished or turned.

I can give you a set of Factory 04 PBR Pads...$75.00 shipped.

Beats the $150 youll have to pay elsewhere for them .

I got OE pads for like 48 bucks from a local distribution house (they do walkins too.. sweet) that supplies parts stores around the bay area.

Take shambles' offer. You can wipe dust off. Rotors are expensive.
