Air Intake Silencer

Where is it located & how do I take it off?

Should I just leave it....I guess it's there for a reason right?

It's located on the air box. It looks like a rubber funnel. It's free horsepower if you remove it since a CAI isn't much more effective than the stock piece w/o the silencer.
